A legal dispute over a custom wig order has placed Ice Spice at the center of a breach of contract lawsuit, with a deposition expected later this month.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the case stems from a 2025 agreement between the rapper and The Bella Brand for 25 custom wigs at a discounted price of $20,000. The company alleges that although the order was completed, Ice Spice did not fulfill the payment terms outlined in the contract and failed to properly accept the items.
The Bella Brand further claims the situation escalated after the business relationship deteriorated, alleging that statements made publicly by Ice Spice and her team caused reputational harm. The company asserts those actions resulted in financial losses, including the loss of at least one repeat client.
As a result, the company is seeking $400,000 in compensatory and punitive damages for breach of contract and alleged damage to its business reputation.
Attorney Justin Mungai of ChaudhryLaw, representing The Bella Brand, told TMZ, “This is what entitlement looks like. Fame is not immunity from the law. Ice Spice will be held accountable.”
A deposition has been scheduled for late April, though it may be subject to change. Ice Spice has not publicly responded to the allegations.
