K. Michelle is finally speaking on the tension with Porsha Williams, and according to her, the issue goes much deeper than reality TV drama. During a recent interview with Nessa on Hot 97, the singer explained that her frustration comes from feeling blindsided by someone she believed was trying to build a friendship with her.

K. Michelle admitted she still has hurt feelings over the situation, especially after years of watching accusations and narratives play out publicly around Porsha.
“This is reality TV. They can say, yo, toughen up this reality TV. I get it and I play the game and I understand it. That don’t mean I ain’t gonna have no emotion,” she said.
Still, she made it clear she is not interested in carrying hatred. “I don’t hate her right… it’s not that,” K. Michelle explained before hinting that other people were involved behind the scenes. “She wasn’t the one to completely come up with that.”
Things got especially tense once K. Michelle addressed rumors involving Porsha and one of her exes.
According to K. Michelle, the bigger issue was the secrecy.
“You can’t say you bringing me into a friend group and you around here, you banging on my last known ex.”
The singer also accused Porsha of trying to control narratives within the group.
“You’re a little tricky one. You like to lead the narrative. You’re a little manipulative. You ain’t gonna manipulate me,” she said while discussing how things shifted after Porsha’s interview with Carlos King.
K. Michelle also defended her place on the cast, saying critics came into the season expecting chaos from her.
“Honestly, no offense to my cast, I’m the most successful one on the cast,” she said.
