Iggy Azalea went back to social media on December 27, 2020, only hours after reportedly calling a truce. The rapper shared a new round of posts and audio clips responding to online commentary aimed at her, much of it tied to her split from Playboi Carti, the father of her son.
According to the posts Iggy shared, the latest back and forth started when she reposted an online message suggesting she was using her child as a pawn. She pushed back, saying that whenever she offered to send a nanny with their son to Atlanta, Carti told her he wanted to see the family together. She also said she does not chase anyone and does not use her child as a tool.
Iggy then posted a series of audio clips in which she made claims about another woman she said had been in contact with Carti. Those claims are Iggy’s own account and have not been confirmed. Iggy said she has more she could share but did not want to pull other people into it.
People connected to that woman reportedly answered on social media with their own messages and said they might share screenshots of their own. Those claims are also unverified, and we have not seen a public response from Carti on any of it.
Quite a Sunday on the timeline. For now, neither side has confirmed anything beyond what they posted themselves.
