The Kerry Rhodes story has moved quickly, so here is a recap of what has been said so far. Baller Alert broke this story.
Vacation photos said to show NFL safety Kerry Rhodes with a man began circulating online. Rhodes, a free agent who most recently played for the Arizona Cardinals, denied the rumors and said the man is his assistant. Russell “Hollywood” Simpson, the man Rhodes described as his assistant, told Baller Alert in an exclusive interview that he and Rhodes were in a relationship. Rhodes has denied that. Baller Alert has not independently verified either account.
An unverified claim
Separately, a reader who said they were close to the situation told Baller Alert that Rhodes is engaged to a woman and plans to marry this summer. A second unnamed person made similar comments, describing her as a private professional. Neither source offered proof. Baller Alert was told a voicemail could be shared, but it was not provided. Rhodes has not confirmed an engagement or wedding, and Baller Alert cannot verify the claim, so please treat it as an unconfirmed tip only.
We will keep you posted if anything is confirmed.
