Jeremih has officially withdrawn from the “Boys 4 Life” Tour as the star-studded throwback tour prepares to launch its 28-city run.

The “Don’t Tell ‘Em” singer, who was slated to perform alongside B2K, Bow Wow, and Amerie, shared the news with his fans on Friday through a statement on social media, revealing that an ongoing health crisis has made it impossible for him to participate.

The announcement, which featured a photo of him in the studio, made it clear that his medical team is taking the situation very seriously. Due to a serious medical condition, Jeremih will be unable to participate in the upcoming B2K tour scheduled to begin in March,” the post’s caption explained. “He has been dealing with a health issue, and his condition continues to be closely monitored by his doctor.”

While the specific nature of this current setback was not detailed, the news has caused immediate concern among fans who remember his harrowing battle with multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS) in late 2020. That rare and dangerous condition, which causes severe organ inflammation, left the singer in intensive care for weeks and required extensive physical therapy for him to regain his mobility.

Despite the disappointment of missing the tour, Jeremih’s team emphasized that his long term wellness is the only priority right now. The statement concluded by noting that the singer and his inner circle “are focused on his care and recovery and are deeply grateful for the understanding, patience, and continued support from fans, partners, and the touring team during this time.”

The “Boys 4 Life” tour, which also features Pretty Ricky, Yung Joc, and Waka Flocka Flame, is still moving forward with its opening night on Saturday, March 7, at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

While the show must go on, the absence of Jeremih will certainly be felt across the remaining 27 dates.
