Kai Cenat is denying the grooming allegations fellow streamer Reggie made against him and says he plans to take him to court, the latest turn in a Kai Cenat Reggie fallout that has played out across livestreams all week.
Cenat addressed the accusations during a “Just Chatting” livestream on September 30, speaking directly to Reggie, who also goes by Lil Rodney Son online. He told him to take whatever evidence he has to law enforcement. Call the cops and show them evidence,” Cenat said, adding that he would call the police himself. Then he made his next move plain. “I’m suing you, bro.”
Cenat said suing Reggie was never part of the plan. He changed his mind, he explained, as the allegations kept coming and grew more serious.
The situation started on September 27, when Reggie spoke publicly about his own alleged childhood abuse and accused his brother of sexually abusing him as a child. In that same discussion, he alleged that Cenat knew someone had taken advantage of RaKai, a streamer from the Clover Boys circle who also took part in Cenat’s Streamer University program.
Reggie escalated days later during an Instagram Live he titled “Truth.” There, he accused Cenat of grooming RaKai and encouraging inappropriate behavior for fame and clout, along with other serious accusations. None of Reggie’s claims have been verified, and he has not publicly presented evidence to support them.
RaKai has spoken for himself. He publicly denied Reggie’s claims about his childhood and said he was never touched.
During his stream, Cenat said the accusations put his livelihood at risk and could follow his family and his future children. He also pushed back on the idea that he abandoned Reggie when Reggie needed him. According to Cenat, he kept offering support even after Reggie called his sister a derogatory name, and he said he had been worried about Reggie’s wellbeing more than once. He also referenced an incident in Alaska while disputing Reggie’s version of their history.
“I would never do that to you,” Cenat said, before accusing Reggie of pulling his claims from social media. “You’re going on TikTok, seeing the comments, running with them, and putting them out.”
He urged viewers not to believe everything they see online, saying the claims were piling onto the scrutiny he already faces. After the stream, Cenat posted a short message on X that read “Put you first,” with no further explanation.
The Kai Cenat Reggie split marks a sharp break for a circle that grew up together on camera. Both Reggie and RaKai became familiar faces in Cenat’s streaming world, and their audiences grew alongside his.
As of October 1, no Kai Cenat lawsuit against Reggie had been reported as filed, and no criminal case connected to Reggie’s allegations had been announced. Reggie has not publicly responded to Cenat’s comments.
