What started as a supportive appearance has now turned into public frustration for Khloé Kardashian, who is calling out her ex-husband Lamar Odom over how her role in his documentary is being portrayed.

Kardashian addressed the situation during an April 15 episode of her podcast, reacting to comments Odom made while promoting “Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.” The project revisits his 2015 overdose and recovery, a period where Kardashian played a visible role in his care. But now, she says the narrative is shifting in a way she didn’t expect.
“I think what’s pissing me off is, we did this, all good. I was done with this,” she said. “But now Lamar is doing press [and saying he’s] annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I’m a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn’t the one that helped him.”
According to Kardashian, her involvement came strictly as a favor. She said she spent months debating whether to participate before ultimately agreeing after being assured the documentary would be positive.
“I willingly do the Netflix thing for Lamar. I’m not getting paid one penny to do this,” she explained. “I have no dog in this fight.”
Still, her tone shifted as she described feeling blindsided by Odom’s recent comments.
“All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell, but now to, like, play in my face and now to act like I didn’t do any of the things I did and insinuate I’m a liar is crazy,” she said. “I feel played.”
The tension appears tied to Odom disputing certain claims, including statements about his family’s decisions during his hospitalization and the extent of Kardashian’s role in his recovery. He has publicly credited his survival to his faith during a recent interview with “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle.”
Kardashian, however, made it clear she has no interest in revisiting that chapter.
“Do people think I like talking about this all day long? No, it’s traumatic,” she said, adding that she only spoke out because she was asked.
She also suggested the backlash may be influencing Odom’s current stance. “He wasn’t expecting this response [to the doc] and now he’s trying to sort of slander me a little bit.”
Neither Odom nor Netflix has publicly responded to her latest remarks.
