The incident happened during the Nightmare on Channelside concert at Benchmark International Arena on Halloween weekend. Kodak was among several artists scheduled to perform at the event, which also featured Meek Mill, DaBaby, and other rappers. In footage circulating online, Kodak can be seen standing onstage before suddenly falling to the floor. His body appears to make several abrupt movements as people nearby realize something is wrong.
Crew members and others onstage quickly rush toward him to offer assistance while the music continues playing. The situation appears to bring his performance to an unexpected stop.
Kodak eventually managed to get back on his feet, where he laughed and danced as fans cheered. However, the footage does not explain what caused him to fall or whether he needed medical attention afterward.
The rapper reportedly performed five songs during his brief set, including “ZEZE,” “Skrilla,” “Roll in Peace,” “Versatile,” and “Skrt,” before the performance ended.

The moment has renewed concerns about the 29-year-old rapper’s well-being, especially considering his previous public discussions about substance use and several past appearances that left fans worried.
Kodak, whose legal name is Bill Kahan Kapri, has been open about his previous struggles with Percocet. During a June 2024 performance in Los Angeles, he revealed that his use of the prescription painkiller had once reached alarming levels. According to his own account, he previously consumed an average of 40 Percocet pills daily and claimed that, at one point, he was taking as many as 100 in a single day.
He also expressed regret over promoting drug use through his music, particularly lyrics in his popular song “Super Gremlin.” Kodak explained that he did not want listeners believing that taking large quantities of pills was acceptable.
His behavior also sparked concern in November 2024 when he appeared on Kai Cenat’s livestream.
During the broadcast, Kodak displayed unusual behavior, struggled through portions of the conversation, and appeared to toss a pill into the air before catching it in his mouth. He then fell to the floor, leaving Cenat visibly confused.
Kodak later addressed the controversy and acknowledged taking a Percocet while pushing back against people questioning his well-being.
His appearance on the “Drink Champs” podcast in 2023 prompted similar reactions after clips showed him speaking and moving in ways that concerned viewers.
Beyond those moments, Kodak has faced several drug-related legal issues. In December 2023, he was arrested in Florida after authorities found him asleep in a vehicle. Although police initially suspected cocaine possession, subsequent testing identified oxycodone, and that possession charge was dismissed.
More recently, Kodak was arrested in May 2026 in connection with an alleged MDMA trafficking offense. However, prosecutors declined to file formal charges in September, citing insufficient evidence that he possessed the substance.
Despite his documented history, there is currently no verified evidence connecting substance use to what happened during his Halloween performance.
