Atlanta authorities have confirmed that rapper Lil Poppa died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said the 25-year-old musician, whose legal name was Janarious Mykel Wheeler, sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Officials ruled the manner of death a suicide after completing their preliminary findings. He was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
