Over the weekend, #LilScrappy got into a car wreck that left him hospitalized and barely conscious.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred early Sunday morning after a night at King of Diamonds in Miami. Sources say Scrappy believes his friend fell asleep at the wheel, drifted off the road, slammed into a pole and totaled the car.
However, according to the police report obtained by the publication, Scrappy was behind the wheel at the time of the crash. The two men were found outside of the car when officials arrived. Although neither man was able to explain what exactly happened, officials said they were probably driving too fast for the conditions.

Both men were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and Scrappy was unable to recall the crash or the aftermath of the incident. Fortunately for him though, the rapper can put this incident behind him as police have closed their investigation into the wreck.

According to TMZ, Scrappy won’t be facing prosecution over the accident, as there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol involved. There were no other cars or witnesses in the area or involved, so officials declined to pursue criminal charges against the driver. However, the case can still be reopened if there is a new development in the case.
