Lori Harvey is done playing nice with the blogs. The model, entrepreneur, and “Reasonable Doubt” actress hopped on Instagram Thursday with a sheet mask on her face and a warning sitting right across it.
“I hope yall have had so much fun creating false narratives about me for clickbait,” she wrote, “because I’m about to have so much fun suing yall.”
The post landed less than a week after a rumor started spreading that Lori had ended her rekindled romance with Damson Idris because he was “too nice.” That claim popped up first on a parody account on X around April 20, got recycled by gossip pages, and was running across YouTube Shorts and TikTok within forty eight hours. No outlet verified a source. Nobody close to Lori went on record. The story still moved like it was confirmed.
Anybody actually paying attention knows the timeline doesn’t track. Lori and Damson first split in November 2023, but the two were back in each other’s orbit by late 2025. They were photographed together on a beach in Puerto Vallarta last September, hit the club together in December, and got caught kissing in Paris during Fashion Week earlier this year. The reconciliation has been ongoing and very visible. So the “too nice” headline didn’t just sound off. It sounded made up. This isn’t the first time Lori has called out the cycle around her name.
She told “Pretty Little Thing’s” podcast years ago that there isn’t an article about her that doesn’t include the words “allegedly” or “rumored” because the people writing them don’t bother to fact check. That was her being polite about it. Thursday’s Instagram story was not.
She isn’t moving alone on this either. Hailey Bieber recently floated the idea of legal action over what her camp called hateful narratives online. Two of the most followed women in entertainment signaling lawyers in the same month is a shift, and the corners of the internet printing the loosest version of every story should probably take the hint.
Lori has a Hulu show coming, a skincare brand that prints money, and a personal life she has every right to keep in her own hands. She’s been telling everybody for years that the made up stuff was getting old. This time it sounds like she’s ready to put a price on it.
