“Love & Hip Hop” star Moniece Slaughter has reportedly been granted a restraining order against a man she says broke into her home. According to TMZ, the same man filed a restraining order against her, and the nature of their relationship has not been made clear.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Moniece asked a judge to keep a man named Sterling away from her after an incident at her home last week. She claims it started while she was on the phone with her dad, when Sterling allegedly insulted her and followed her through the house, refusing to leave.
She says Sterling left, then came back and got into the home through the kitchen window. According to her filing, he drank a glass of lemonade and slammed the glass on the counter, shattering it. Moniece says she cut her finger in the incident, and that he kept calling and texting her afterward.
A judge reportedly ordered Sterling to stay 100 yards away from Moniece and her son. TMZ reports that he filed a restraining order against her as well. These are allegations from court filings, and Sterling’s side of the story was not detailed in the report.
