"Love Island USA" Couples Who Survived Casa Amor, Clout, And The Real World

Let’s be real, most people go on “Love Island USA” for the clout. A few go for the $100,000. But every now and then, somebody goes in looking for love and actually finds it. And the ones who do? They make the whole thing worth watching.

With Season 8 currently airing on Peacock, and Casa Amor already shaking things up, we thought it was the perfect time to look back at the couples who survived the villa, the real world, and everything in between. Because while the recouplings and dramatic dumpings make for great TV, the real story is what happens after the cameras stop rolling.

Here are the “Love Island USA” couples who passed the ultimate test: real life.

Marco Wright & Hannah Donatelli — Season 5 Winners

These two didn’t just win the season; they won at life. Marco and Hannah coupled up from the jump and never looked back. After leaving Fiji, they moved in together immediately. And in May 2025, Marco got down on one knee in the Dominican Republic, making them the first “Love Island USA” couple to get engaged. They’re set to walk down the aisle on December 12, 2026. From the villa to vows; that’s the dream right there.

Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen & Taylor Smith — Season 5

Bergie had a tough time in the villa; unlucky in love for most of the season until Taylor entered as a Casa Amor bombshell and changed everything. They finished third in Season 5, but built something that outlasted everyone.

Nearly three years later, they got engaged in May 2025. “I won’t lie, there are many days I don’t think about Love Island,” Bergie wrote on Instagram, “but it changed my life by giving me Taylor.” That right there is the whole point.

Serena Page & Kordell Beckham — Season 6 Winners

If you watched Season 6, you already know. This was the love story of the summer. They coupled up on Day 1, Serena friend-zoned him, Casa Amor nearly ended it, and there was a viral fight on the docks. Yet, somehow, someway, these two found their way back to each other and won America’s hearts along the way. They’re still together, still booked, and still showing up for each other. Valentine’s Day campaigns for Savage x Fenty, CeraVe commercials, and appearances on the spinoff “Love Island: Beyond the Villa,” Serena and Kordell turned their villa love story into a whole brand. They are the standard.

Leah Kateb & Miguel Harichi — Season 6 Runner-Ups

Leah came in as an OG and didn’t find her match until bombshell Miguel walked through the door. Once they connected, that was it. They’ve been living together since leaving the villa, with Miguel calling Leah his “wife” on TikTok, not legally, he clarifies, but in every way that counts. “I just view her as my wife,” he told Us Weekly. Season 6 really was built different.

Olandria Carthen & Nic Vansteenberghe — Season 7 Winners

Olandria and Nic proved that sometimes the strongest connections take the longest to find. Their journey wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, with both Islanders exploring other relationships before ultimately realizing they were each other’s best match. Once they coupled up, viewers rallied behind them, helping the pair win “Love Island USA” Season 7 and take home the $100,000 grand prize.

Since leaving the villa, the two have continued to fuel romance rumors by spending time together, making joint appearances, and sharing moments that fans can’t get enough of. While they’ve acknowledged they’re still navigating life outside the show, they’ve made it clear they’re committed to seeing where their relationship goes without rushing the process.

Josh Ritchie & Sophie Piper — Love Island All Stars (2024)

Both tried to find love on Love Island before — separately, in different seasons, on the UK version. The universe had other plans. They met on “Love Island: All Stars” in 2024, finished third, and have been going strong ever since. Their first anniversary post had Josh asking how she’d “put up with him for this long.” A year and counting.

The Couples Who Didn’t Make It, Because It Needs To Be Said

Not every love story gets a fairytale ending, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. Season 1 through 4 produced zero lasting couples from the show, not a single one. Even fan favorites like Zac and Elizabeth (Season 1 winners) and Justine and Caleb (Season 2 winners) eventually went their separate ways. And Season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales? They were done within a month of leaving the villa after Bryan admitted to a “lapse in judgment” at a club appearance. The confetti had barely settled.

Season 8 is in full swing and Casa Amor is already doing what Casa Amor does; testing everybody. Right now the Islanders are in the thick of it: Aniya, KC, Kenzie, Corbin, Kayda, Zach, Melanie, Sincere, Trinity, Bryce, Jen, and Caleb are all navigating new connections and old loyalties at the same time. The finale drops July 12th.
