Lucki is back on camera after the violent scene outside ComplexCon, and this time his biggest concern appears to be getting his property back from Los Angeles police.

In a video posted Monday to Lucki’s Instagram page, the rapper appeared with a bandage covering the area near his neck as he called on the LAPD to return his vehicle. Lucki claimed his debit card is still inside the car along with $100,000 in cash. The rapper’s claim about the money has not been independently verified, and LAPD has not publicly confirmed why the vehicle is being held or whether the reported cash and card are inside. The latest update comes after the Lucki attack became one of the biggest stories to emerge from ComplexCon’s Los Angeles weekend. According to the Los Angeles Times, officers responded to a fight involving multiple people near Chick Hearn Court and Georgia Street at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 3. Police said the fight was still happening when officers arrived.
LAPD told the Times that four people were injured during what authorities described as an apparent knife attack. Two people were transported to a hospital with injuries that appeared to have been caused by a knife. A third person made their own way to a hospital with a severe laceration, while a fourth person had an elbow laceration and declined treatment at the scene. Police did not publicly identify the four victims.
That distinction matters because early social media posts repeatedly claimed Lucki himself had been stabbed. Publicly confirmed information is less definitive. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said Lucki was surrounded by fans and taking photos around 4:40 p.m. when an unknown person struck him on the side of his face, causing a laceration. TMZ reported that another person was then observed being stabbed during the chaos.
Video from the Lucki attack showed the rapper bloodied near his jaw and neck as people helped him into a vehicle. The footage fueled reports that he had been stabbed, but authorities have not publicly confirmed the exact object that caused Lucki’s wound.
Playboi Carti was also captured nearby during the confrontation. Footage appeared to show Carti watching what was happening from a nearby vehicle. There is currently no verified evidence showing that Carti attacked Lucki, directed the violence, or otherwise participated physically in the incident. LAPD has also not publicly connected Carti to a crime stemming from the fight.
ComplexCon told People that the confrontation happened “on the public street outside the event.” The organization said its security team and LAPD responded immediately and added that it would “take incidents of this nature extremely seriously.”
The presence of Carti quickly revived discussion about his previous online tension with Lucki. In September 2024, Carti interpreted Lucki saying “crosses up” while showing a new chain as a possible shot tied to Carti’s “All Red.” Lucki denied that interpretation and said, “Like I said from the jump, I don’t dislike you.” The disagreement later appeared to cool, making any attempt to connect that old exchange to the Lucki ComplexCon attack speculative without evidence from investigators.
The setting also put Carti close to the story before the violence ever happened. The October 3 and 4 event marked ComplexCon’s tenth anniversary and its Los Angeles debut, with Carti and Hiroshi Fujiwara serving as artistic directors. Carti was also part of the music programming surrounding the event.
Lucki, born Lucki Camel Jr., has spent more than a decade building one of rap’s most recognizable underground careers. The Chicago artist released his debut mixtape, “Alternative Trap,” in 2013 before eventually breaking into the Billboard 200’s Top 20 with “Flawless Like Me” and “Sex Money Drugs.” His 2026 project “Drgs R Bad” arrived May 15 through EMPIRE with 26 tracks, continuing a run that pushed his once underground sound further into the mainstream.
For now, the rapper’s new car claim adds another unanswered question to the Lucki attack investigation. Lucki says police have his vehicle, debit card, and $100,000, but LAPD has not publicly confirmed those details, while the identity of the person who injured him, the precise cause of his neck wound, and the circumstances that sparked the larger fight remain under investigation.
