The family storylines on Love and Hip Hop New York kept coming this week. On Monday’s episode, Yandy Smith told cast member Amina she no longer wanted to work with her after a storyline involving Amina and a man named Peter. According to Bossip, that episode set off a reaction from Erika, who Bossip identified as the mother of two of Mendeecees Harris’ children.
After the episode aired, Erika reportedly posted a photo to Instagram with a caption made up of hashtags aimed at no one by name. The message read in part, “Pots love calling kettles black,” followed by a reminder that behavior counts for more than beliefs and that practice is worth more than preaching. Bossip framed the post as a response to how Yandy handled the storyline on the show.
Erika has not named Yandy in the post, and Baller Alert has not seen a public response from Yandy or Mendeecees. Whether there is more to come is anyone’s guess, but we will keep an eye on it.
