Marshawn Lynch’s crotch-grab-and-dive into the end zone during last Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals is going to cost him. The NFL fined the Seattle Seahawk back $11,050 for what the league deemed unsportsmanlike conduct for his inappropriate gesture at the end of his 79-yard run against Arizona. The announcement was made Christmas day. As great of a play as it was, the NFL was not impressed.
Marshawn Lynch has been racking up the fines. Earlier this season he was docked $100,000 for failure to cooperate with the media. Some are saying that this fine seems to bit a bit steep. Lynch, who’s done a similar gesture before, is getting fined nearly the same amount as the Giants players who got into a huge brawl on-filed with the Rams.
