McDonald’s is launching a limited edition meal for big kids following the success of its adult Happy Meals last year.
The fast food chain revealed It’s latest collaboration with Kerwin Frost, a DJ, artist, and streetwear influencer.
Launching on Dec. 11, the Kerwin Frost Box offers a modern version of the cherished McNugget Buddies toys from the ’80s and ’90s. The meal includes a choice of Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, a drink, and one of six collectible McNugget Buddy toys with interchangeable outfits.
Inspired by Frost’s childhood, the Kerwin Frost Box’s McNugget Buddies celebrate individuality at any age. Like the 1988 toys, they feature diverse personalities—such as a fashion designer and a McDonald’s worker with dreams of becoming a singer.
According to McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Tariq Hassan, “We’re excited to team up with Kerwin on this next take, as he brings his own childhood McDonald’s memories to life through reimagined McDonald’s characters, immersing our fans in the world of Frost Way.”
