Nia Long pregnant talk is over, because the actress and NBA player Ime Udoka confirmed to People that they are expecting their first child together this fall. Long is 40 and Udoka is 33, and People reported the news exclusively, which ends the online guessing about who the father was.
“This is the most exciting time in our lives,” the couple said in a statement to the magazine. They added that they feel blessed and are grateful for all the well wishes and prayers they have received.
Long already has a 10 year old son, Massai, from a previous relationship, while this will be Udoka’s first child, according to People. Access Hollywood, passing along the People story, noted that Udoka most recently played for the San Antonio Spurs. Atlanta Black Star reported that Long was seen on a beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the weekend before the news came out, appearing to be pregnant, and that Udoka was reportedly let go by the Spurs in January.
