Minaj opened by thanking Donald Trump for “prioritizing” the crisis and supporting efforts to defend Christians facing deadly attacks. She made it clear that her appearance had nothing to do with political sides, stressing that the issue is about humanity and the right of every person to worship without fear.
She spoke about her own gratitude for living in a country where faith can be practiced freely.
