Offset is giving a whole new meaning to the term “unstoppable.”

Just six days after surviving a shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, the former Migos star was already back in Los Angeles, performing on stage and hitting the interview circuit.
Sitting down with Andy Bachman on the “Creators Inc. Podcast,” Offset made it clear that he has no plans to take a medical leave. Comparing his relentless work ethic to a household battery mascot, he told the host that his focus remains on his career.
“Gotta keep pushing, like the Energizer Bunny, man,” he said. “Keep this s**t pushing. We don’t got time to be slowing down.”
The April 6 incident reportedly occurred near the valet area of the casino after a group assault, leaving Offset with a wound to his hip. Despite the injury, and even revealing he was still connected to an IV drip during his travel, the rapper wasn’t about to miss his scheduled appearances. To make the cross-country trek possible, he had a bed installed in a G5 jet.
“Lay on that thing for six hours, go to sleep, you’re cool,” he explained.
While the shooting was a terrifying moment, Offset is chalking it up to being in the wrong place at the wrong time and isn’t looking for a pity party. He noted that the hustle is part of his DNA and he intends to keep it that way.
“But we here, man. I’m pushing,” he told Bachman. “At the end of the day, the grind don’t stop. I don’t want nobody to feel sorry for me, or no shit like that. People get shot every day, bro.”
