Rapper OJ Da Juiceman experienced another health-related incident after reportedly fainting at a gas station in Georgia, raising renewed concerns about his ongoing medical condition.
According to sources with direct knowledge, the Atlanta-based artist lost consciousness Thursday night while inside a QuikTrip location in Decatur. Witnesses say he collapsed near the cashier area after appearing unsteady. He has since regained consciousness and is currently recovering at home.
Insiders familiar with the situation stated that the episode was linked to low blood sugar, as the rapper continues managing complications tied to his Type 1 diabetes. The same sources noted that his condition may have been exacerbated by what they described as inconsistent medical treatment during a recent period of incarceration, where he allegedly did not receive proper medication dosages for several weeks.
The latest incident follows a prior medical emergency on March 21, when the artist was rushed to a hospital for treatment related to his diabetes. He was later returned to custody at DeKalb County Jail.
OJ Da Juiceman had been arrested earlier on March 10, facing multiple charges after authorities alleged he threatened a state trooper with a firearm while driving recklessly on an interstate. He was released on April 4 and remains under legal scrutiny, with several felony and misdemeanor charges still pending.
Despite his recent health scares and legal challenges, sources close to the rapper indicate he is continuing to focus on new music and future performances.
