Jeezy Says He Did Not Cheat On Jeannie Mai During Their Marriage

Jeezy is doubling down on his “real men don’t cheat” comment and wants it to be known, he didn’t cheat on Jeannie Mai while they were married.

A rep on his behalf denied claims made by his now estranged wife that he was unfaithful during their marriage to US Weekly.

“Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins’ behalf are 100 percent false and we have no further statements at this time.”

Mai filed a response to her ex-husband Jeezy’s divorce petition and requested that the court uphold their prenuptial agreement clause because of his alleged infidelity. The two signed a prenup in March 2021, although the terms of the prenup aren’t specified. Mai’s Thursday, November 30, filing revealed a penalty if either had cheated during the course of their relationship, Hollywood Unlocked reported.

Jeezy has also accused Mai of acting as a “gatekeeper” for their daughter amid their ongoing divorce case. In his filing, the Atlanta rapper asked a judge for a hearing to set “clearly defined” temporary legal and physical custody rights of their child.

Reportedly, the two had initially “agreed upon a visitation schedule through the end of 2023” after Jeezy filed for divorce in September. But, in the filing, he claims that the situation is “becoming increasingly less feasible.”

“The lack of consistency, continuity, and stability inherently associated with such a haphazard and fluid parenting time schedule is stressful to the Child (Monaco), and it has, as is unfortunately inevitable with all families in transition, created unnecessary tension and confusion regarding not only parenting time but also in regard to each parent’s role and rights when the Child is in their respective custody,” his filing continued.

As for Mai, she wants the judge to uphold the infidelity penalty and also requested an “equitable division” of all marital assets.

“Wife reserves the right to amend this counterclaim to add other grounds for divorce, but which Wife does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly,” her lawyer wrote in a statement to TMZ.

“Wife further shows that the Court should enforce Paragraph 8 of the Prenuptial Agreement regarding infidelity which provides, in pertinent part, that in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communications, including but not limited to texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party …”

Lil Wayne Says He Found André 3000’s Lack Of Musical Inspiration In His 40’s To Be “Depressing” [Video]

Lil Wayne is disappointed after hearing André 3000‘s recent statements regarding his lack of lyrical inspiration in his 40s.

During his Young Money Radio show, Wayne spoke with Tyga, hinting at someone suggesting they struggle with rapping in their 40s.

“I read a depressing quote or two from someone I respect a lot in music. In Hip Hop period, in music period,” he said. “And they were asked, ‘Why you ain’t been doing music’ or whatever? And they was like, ‘Man, what I’ma talk about? I’m in my 40s. Like what am I supposed to talk about?’ I was like wow, that was so depressing. I’m like, I have everything to talk about!”

Tyga then chimed in saying, “But I feel like that’s why you gotta stay in it, though. I feel like you can’t be too far removed.”

In contrast, Wayne held a differing viewpoint, expressing that at his age, attempting to keep up with music trends could potentially be even more creatively disheartening.

“So that’s why I say I don’t listen,” he concluded. “I just go in my little hole, I love what I do. I just put it out and swing for the fences man.”

Wayne’s comments were in reference to André 3000’s recent interview, where he explained his decision not to include any raps on his new album. In the interview, André candidly shared that he felt he had nothing new to rap about at his current age.

“I’m 48 years old,” he said. “And not to say that age is a thing that dictates what you rap about, but in a way it does. And things that happen in my life, like, what are you talking about? ‘I got to go get a colonoscopy.’ What are you rapping about? ‘My eyesight is going bad.’”

Cher Believes All Women Should Date Younger Men At Least Once In Their Life: “Go Out With A Younger Man”

Cher is giving a piece of advice for all women.

The 77-year-old pop legend appeared on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s YouTube interview series, “Chicken Shop Date.” In the latest episode, released on Friday, the host posed a question about something she believes every woman should experience at least once in their lifetime. In response, the iconic celebrity shared a concise piece of dating wisdom.

“Go out with a younger man,” Cher said.

Further into the conversation, when discussing the benefits of dating someone younger, she mentioned,  “Older men just do not like me.”

The singer has a track record of dating younger men, including figures like Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, and Rob Camilletti in the 1980s. More recently, she embraced her romantic instincts by entering a relationship with her current boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards.

However, during her appearance on Chicken Shop Date, she revealed that she had previously set her own rules, including a preference for not dating younger men. Despite this, she found herself in love with the 37-year-old music executive. Cher clarified that her feelings for Edwards didn’t develop rapidly, as she initially did not feel a strong connection. Nevertheless, she eventually found herself charmed by him through their text exchanges, even though she believed it went against her own judgment.

“I left to go to Switzerland and he texted me, ‘Where are you going?’ I said “I’m going to Switzerland. I’m a little tired,’ and then he wrote me, ‘Well, get some rest, babyyy,’ with three Ys,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘He doesn’t know me well enough to put three Ys on baby.’ I was kind of pissed off. And then he just started texting me.”

She added, “I told my friends, don’t fall in love with a younger man, we’re too old. And don’t fall in love by text. There goes that theory.”

The singer-songwriter initially crossed paths with the record producer at a Paris Fashion Week event in the previous year. Following a mutual friend’s introduction and a few months of dating discreetly, the couple decided to make their relationship public in the autumn of 2022.

DC Young Fly Reflects On Dealing With Grief While Recalling The Passing Of His Girlfriend, Jacky Oh: “Emotionally, I’m Numb To Death Because I’m Used To It” [Video]

DC Young Fly reflects on how the loss of numerous individuals in his life has influenced his approach to dealing with grief.

In an exclusive preview of Tuesday’s Tamron Hall episode, the Wild N’ Out star opens up about how he reacted to the passing of his partner Jacky Oh, admitting that he “scared” himself.

“I’d had been through so much loss,” he clarifies, reflecting on his reaction to the news of a loved one’s passing. “Emotionally, I’m numb to death, because I’m used to it.”
DC Young Fly discloses that his initial encounter with loss occurred when he was 16, and he has noticed a “unique response” to each death he has encountered throughout the years.

“With my cousin, I was angry,” he says. “When my father died, I was at peace. When my best friend died, I was confused. Now, when my girl died, I’m shocked.”

“And who is this for?” DC added speaking of Jacky’s death. “Who do I talk to? Because this not only affects me, it affects my children. They have [gone] through something that I ain’t even been through.”

The TV personality shares the impact of his partner’s passing on their children, Nova, Nala, and Prince Nehemiah. He believes that his daughters have inherited “the spirit” and, as a result, have been a source of solace for the entire family as they navigate their way through grief.

“I hear my older daughter, Nova, she [says], ‘Oh, I heard auntie in there crying. I told her, ‘Daddy said stop crying. We supposed to be strong. We’re gonna be alright,’” he says. “That’s the [Holy] Spirit letting me know that they’re on their way. They’re built for it, it’s gonna be hard but they’re built for it.”

Jacky passed away on May 31, following complications from cosmetic surgery.

Elon Musk Opens Up About Battling ‘Demons of the Mind,’ Reflects on Suicide Contemplation at Age 12

In a recent interview with Aaron Ross Sorkin at the DealBook Summit 2023, Elon Musk admitted to having an “existential crisis” at age 12.

According to Musk, he reflected on thoughts of ending his life with questions like “‘Is it all pointless? Why not just commit suicide? Why exist?'”

At the time, he said reading religious books and German philosophy is what caused him to be “quite depressed.”

He claims that he was able to change his perspective after reading Douglas Adams’The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.”

“My motivation then was, well, my life is really finite … but if we can expand the scope and scale of consciousness then we are better able to figure out what questions to ask about the answer that is the universe and maybe we can find out what is the meaning of life,” he said.

Musk described his brain as a “very wild storm” filled with a “fountain of ideas.” When asked if it ever brought him happiness, Musk bluntly responded, “No.”

“I think to some degree I was born this way, but it was amplified by a difficult childhood, frankly,” he added.

In January 2020, his mother, Maye Musk, revealed to Page Six, that her son was abused as a child by her ex-husband, Errol Musk.

Additionally,  Musk admitted to being bullied during his adolescence and stated that even in moments of childhood happiness, he felt “a rage of forces in [his] mind constantly.”

“These demons of the mind are, for the most part, harnessed to productive ends,” he added. “Once in a while, they, you know, go wrong.”

According to Writer Ben Mezrich, Musk, who has acknowledged having Asperger’s syndrome, allegedly suffered from a mental breakdown last year.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s Teacher Arrested For Having Sexual Relationship With High School Student

North Carolina authorities say a Charlotte-Mecklenburg School teacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a high school student and confirmed her arrest.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police announced Thursday morning that Gabriela Neufeld, 26, is facing charges that include five counts of felony sexual activity with a student by a teacher.

Officials say they learned on Wednesday that Neufeld was a teacher at South Mecklenburg High School and allegedly engaged in sexual activity with an 18-year-old boy, with at least one incident happening near the school.

Neufeld started working for the school system in 2021 and had just entered a four-year contract that will run through 2026, QC News reported.

She was booked around 5:09 a.m. Wednesday at the Mecklenburg County Detention Center and released the next day on a $75,000 secured bond, court records show.

She is scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon.

The school system released a statement regarding the matter, saying:

Good morning South Meck High School families.

This is Principal Marc Angerer with a message about a news story you may have seen regarding a South Meck teacher. Although I cannot discuss personnel information, I wanted to inform you that we take this matter seriously. We share your concerns regarding this situation. The safety and security of our students and staff is of the utmost importance to us all, and while this is a troubling situation, it is being managed by law enforcement.

Columbus Short Details A Time When Diddy Allegedly “Tried” Him: “I’m Snitching…Diddy, I Gotta Tell On Him” [Video]

Actor Columbus Short is recounting his experience with Diddy.

This past Friday, Short shared a video on his Instagram page featuring recalling an alleged phone conversation with the Hip-Hop mogul.

“I’m snitching. I’m snitching in the kitchen. Diddy, I gotta tell on him,” the “Stomp The Yard” actor said.

“He tried it on me. So I know it’s true. I was married. My ex-wife. I got a phone call in the middle of the night, about 2:30 in the morning. I picked up the phone. It was Diddy. He said, ‘Hey man, we didn’t see you at the BET Awards. What are you doing?’ I said, ‘I’m in bed with my wife.’”

According to Short, Diddy’s response was to inform him that he was currently staying at a Beverly Hills hotel. Short went on to mention, “I asked, ‘Who is with you?’ He replied, ‘It’s just me.'”

As of now, Short’s account of the events remains unverified. His Instagram caption left some individuals under the impression that the 41-year-old entertainer might have been joking in the now-deleted video.

Short wrote, “DIDDY DO IT? #LostFiles #backonmyfunnyshit.” Nevertheless, Claudia Jordan appeared to take Short’s remarks seriously, as the television personality commented on the post, “A LOT of people got stories about this man. Like I said on my show…. A LOT of PEOPLE (not just women) have been keeping his secrets. Smh at him inviting you over to an after-party of one!”

Casanova Plea For An Early Release Has Been Denied

Casanova’s recent request for compassionate release from a federal prison in New Jersey has been denied.

As reported by TMZ on Friday, a judge rejected the rapper’s request for an early release from prison, explaining that his sentence was already at the lower end of the sentencing range and that he had not yet served even 20 percent of it.

In his letter addressed to the judge, he acknowledged his involvement in the alleged crimes and emphasized his efforts to distance himself from the Gorilla Stone Nation gang. However, these actions did not lead to a favorable outcome.
The judge ruled that the rapper has not demonstrated that he is no longer a threat to the community, and as a result, his 15-year sentence will remain in effect.
Casanova was among a group of 18 individuals who faced charges in a racketeering case that encompassed various crimes, including drug trafficking and murder. His sentencing was primarily influenced by a 2018 incident in which he was accused of assaulting a woman who had filmed him at a diner.
Reportedly, the 36-year-old rapper allegedly forcefully took Niya Rucker’s cellphone and subsequently erased footage of himself that she had recorded without her consent. As a result of this incident, he faced two felony robbery charges. However, Casanova’s legal team is currently disputing these charges, arguing that the victim left the restaurant with her phone, which challenges the basis for the robbery charges.
In August, Casanova and his attorney pleaded for an early release, citing his “extraordinary acceptance of responsibility.” They argued that the legal definition of “robbery” did not align with the outcomes of his actions. While he did not deny the allegations against him, Casanova believed that the consequences he faced did not proportionately match the nature of the crime. In June, Casanova received 188 months in prison.

Fat Joe Says 95% Of His Lyrics Are Lies While Defending Young Thug [Video]

Fat Joe is coming to Young Thug’s defense as the controversial YSL RICO trial pushes on.

The case has attracted much attention, mainly since some of Thug’s lyrics are being used, as well as those of other YSL rappers. When the trial got underway this week, some of Thug’s music had already started being dissected in the courtroom, something Joe disagreed with.

“I’ve been rapping professionally for 30 years — I’ve lied in almost 95 percent of my songs. I’m being honest. I write like I feel that day. I’m just being creative,” Joe said during a sit-down with Gayle King.

According to Joe, rap music should only be seen as entertainment, not actual accounts of the artist’s life. Last year, California famously signed into law a bill banning the use of lyrics in trials, forcing other states to re-evaluate how much they rely on them to build their cases. As the “What’s Luv” rapper explained, he is a family man and philanthropist, which is a message that his music doesn’t always convey.

“So the music would never amount to the actual person, Joseph Cartagena. What’s even more horrible is that the district attorneys, they know those lyrics ain’t real. They know that’s creativity. But if it helps their case, they’ll use it to put these guys in jail,” he added.

Thug is facing decades behind bars if he is convicted of the many allegations against him, which include being the leader and shotcaller of the YSL gang. Thug has maintained his innocence.

Jussie Smollett Taking His Case To The Supreme Court After His Appeal Was Denied

Jussie Smollett has lost his appeal, which could mean he is returning to jail.

The embattled “Empire” star was convicted of five felony counts of disorderly conduct in 2021. The charges stem from his staging a racist attack and homophobic attack on himself with the help of the Osundairo brothers. Smollett reported that Trump supporters beat him up and placed a noose around his neck while calling him slurs. However, it was ruled he made the entire thing up. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail but was released after six, pending the outcome of his appeal.

On Friday, an Illinois judge upheld his conviction in a 2-1 ruling, which likely means Smollett could head back to jail to finish out his sentence. However, he is already planning to fight back in court, with his legal team preparing to take the case to the Supreme Court, believing that Friday’s decision was unfair. Smollett was initially charged with filing a false police report and posing as a victim of a hate crime. When those charges were dropped, Smollett was re-indicted on the disorderly conduct charges.

Smollett has maintained his innocence despite his co-conspirators providing evidence of their planned stunt. He believes he is being wrongly targeted and has referred to himself as the “Gay Tupac.” To this day, the question remains: what motivated Smollett to commit such an act? Some believe it was a trick to secure more money while on “Empire,” others believe he wanted attention.

The world may never know.

Memphis’ Mikey Williams Pleads Guilty To Lesser Charge In Gun Case

Memphis basketball commit Mikey Williams finally received clarity about his involvement in a March shooting. Williams pleaded guilty to one count of making criminal threats.

Within the San Diego natives’ plea deal, Williams will be required to finish a class of anger management and a gun safety course before he is due back in court on August 12, 2024. If he completes both courses, he can have his charge reduced to a misdemeanor, according to Amber Coakley of Fox 5 San Diego.

In April of this year, authorities were made aware of an incident at Williams’s home where he was arrested after there was a report of a verbal disagreement between five people and a shooting occurred.

Williams was charged with five counts of assault with a weapon and one count of firing into an occupied vehicle. The prosecutors filed three more charges against Williams in October. Williams had pleaded not guilty in April, posting bail on his $50,000 bond.

The Memphis commit was one of the most popular youth athletes. Becoming the first high school player to be in the video game NBA2K. Making history by signing the first shoe deal in High School with the shoe company Puma. Williams took a bit of a blow to his NIL portfolio when a few companies like LaceClips disassociated from the star.

In a video posted by Overtime, Williams was asked after court how he was feeling and what he felt being able to start putting this chapter behind him.

“All Glory to God, I’m just happy I made it out of this situation. I’m just excited to get back to the (basketball) court,” Williams said.

The 4-star recruit continued to stay in the gym during his legal battles while taking classes online. An avid supporter throughout this journey was Memphis University head coach Penny Hardaway, who recruited Williams to Memphis, Williams’s lawyer said after court.

It is not clear when Williams will play or officially be on campus.

St. Louis Black and White Ball Hosted By Nelly Is Making A Comeback

Star-studded celebrity gala, The Black and White Ball, hosted by St. Louis rapper Nelly, is officially making its return on December 3rd. From 2006 to 2016, Nelly would host his annual black-tie affair with the leading intention of giving back to his hometown. The 2023 event will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, and the funds raised will go towards Make-A-Wish-Missouri. In addition, the event will assist in funding scholarships to local students to attend HBCU Harris-Stowe State University, which is committed to supplying a higher quality education to those of distressed communities.

According to RiverFront Times, Nelly made an official statement regarding the upcoming event. “The Black and White Ball has always been a chance for our city to be upfront for something positive. A nice time, with nice music, while making a difference. There are people out here who do care. That’s never changed. Now we’re bringing it back for an 11th time. It’s gonna be a vibe and a great way to give back this holiday season.”

This year’s exceptional event will honor St. Louis Cardinal Ozzie Smith, who also happens to be a 15-time MLB All-Star and Baseball Hall-of Famer. With past attendees such as Allen Iverson, Janet Jackson, Ashanti and Jermaine Dupri, it’s certain that the event will draw celebrities from all over. During the last celebration back in 2016, the affair was headlined by T-Pain alongside St. Louis’ beloved Dirty Muggs and Chan Soprano.

Rekindling his relationship with his lover of ten years, Ashanti, the pair has been all smiles since they reunited and anticipation is built to see them pop out for the gala. The couple had been in a relationship since 2003 and called it quits in 2013. During a Verzuz between Ja Rule and Fat Joe in 2021, both Ashanti and Nelly were brought out as guest performers, which happened to be news to Ashanti because she didn’t know he’d be there. At one point, when Nelly walked across the stage to get to Ashanti, fans knew that there was still a spark between the two.

Seeing the couple grow and become more in love, it was announced they were even coming out with a song together. On November 28th, Jermaine Dupri posted to Instagram a video of him and the pair debating the rules of the jump rope game Double Dutch but included a caption that shared the two would soon be coming out with a collab that features Juicy J.

“Although we talking bout double Dutch, this a NEW RECORD ALERT !!”  JD wrote. “Got @nelly @ashanti & @juicyj on the way !!”

The Black and White Ball is produced and brought to you by Derrty Entertainment and SYNERGY Productions LLC. The event is also invite-only.

Prosecutors Say Ex-Officer Derek Chauvin Was Stabbed 22 Times in Prison Attack, Inmate Charged with Attempted Murder

Friday, a federal inmate was charged with attempted murder in connection with the prison stabbing of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis officer convicted of killing George Floyd.

Prosecutors say John Turscak stabbed Chauvin 22 times with an improvised knife in the law library at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson, Arizona. Chauvin is there serving concurrent sentences, including a 21-year federal sentence for violating George Floyd’s civil rights and a 22½-year state sentence for second-degree murder.

Along with attempted murder, Turscak faces charges of assault with intent to commit murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

According to the Associated Press, Turscak told authorities that he assaulted Chauvin on Black Friday, the day following Thanksgiving,  a symbolic connection to the Black Lives Matter movement and the “Black Hand” symbol linked to the Mexican Mafia gang, prosecutors revealed.

While Turscak initially claimed he would have killed Chauvin if authorities hadn’t intervened swiftly, he later told FBI agents that although he had considered assaulting the former officer, he denied any intention of killing him.
