The fight over who paid Remy Ma’s bail has turned into a beef between Papoose and Big J.

It started with “Jezebel,” the diss track Papoose dropped on September 11 aimed at his estranged wife. On the song, Pap lists everything he says he did for Remy while she was locked up, from bringing her food to sending mail, and tells her to “ask the bond man who sent your bail.”Big J answered with a video of his own, saying he was the one who bonded Remy out.
Papoose did not let it slide. He posted a message on Instagram with the caption “I’m talking to you Big J!! #jezebel” and went straight at him. “Don’t ever call me ya brother & tell a lie in the same breath,” he wrote.
Then he laid out his version of how the bail got paid. According to Pap, Big J put up a house, but he put up the cash. “Now I dare you to say that ain’t true?” he wrote, before warning Big J that his “integrity is on the line.”
So by Pap’s own account, both men had a hand in getting Remy out, and the argument is over who gets the credit. Neither has said which arrest they are talking about.
The bail back-and-forth is the latest chapter in a split that has played out in public for more than a year. Papoose filed for divorce in May 2025, accusing Remy of multiple affairs, including one with battle rapper Eazy the Block Captain. On “Jezebel,” he also claims he wrote Remy’s raps and still sends her money. Remy had already taken aim at claims that Pap wrote her music on her own track, “W.Y.F.L.”
Meanwhile, Remy has been beefing online with Papoose’s girlfriend, boxer Claressa Shields, and has a new song, “Why I Get Married” featuring Keke Wyatt, set to drop Friday.
