Cardi B is fed up and she got on X Spaces to make sure everybody heard it clearly.
After spending the better part of 2026 away from home, away from her kids and pushing through a tour while dealing with serious health issues, she came back to fans complaining that she is not doing enough. That did not sit right with her at all and she let it be known.
“Since January till now, matter of fact the whole 2026, I was barely in my home. I was barely in my fucking bed.”
She broke it all the way down. January and half of February were spent in Los Angeles, a city she made clear she cannot stand. “LA is not the same anymore. I do not like being in fucking California. It feels too far away. I don’t know anybody. I don’t really like the food like that.”
Then came the tour. Three months of performing for two hours every night, followed by meet and greets with 40 people, after parties and then back on a bus. And she was sick through all of it. “I’m very asthmatic so the smell of gas was getting me sick. Sick. Like I was just getting sick and had to do this shit every single fucking day for three months.”
Now she has been home for about a month and fans are already on her case about new music and staying visible. She addressed that too. “I have been working on new music. I’ve been writing new music every single day when I’m in my house. I’m hearing beats. I’m going through different ideas because I want to make sure that my next single or music that I’m going to put out is not bullshit.”
But beyond the music what really got her going was people acting like she owes them every second of her time. She is spending time with her kids, going to the spa, taking pole classes to keep her strength up for future performances and just trying to decompress. None of that has been posted and she is fine with that.
“Y’all expect me to be a machine every single fucking day and this not fair and I don’t like that.”
She also pointed out that she is not the only artist who steps back between projects. Nobody is hounding other artists the same way. “I don’t see no female artists. I don’t even really see artists posting like that anymore. Everybody is just chilling or everybody is getting ready for what they gonna drop.”
Cardi has earned the right to breathe. Three months on the road sick, barely sleeping on a noisy bus, away from her kids and still delivering every single night. The least fans can do is give her a month.
Cardi B claps back at ungrateful and entitled fans demanding new music and criticizing her ads, revealing she was seriously sick throughout the tour and tired of people acting entitled to her personal life and career choices:
