Playboi Carti is being accused of not paying $97K owed for some jewelry in a new lawsuit.
According to TMZ, Eliantte & Co., filed legal docs in a New York court claiming the “Magnolia” rapper owes $97,063.75, which the company claims is the remaining balance for two custom chains the rapper ordered from them back in September 2020.
The jeweler says Playboi was billed $197,063.75 for a 14-carat white gold diamond rosary chain and a custom diamond tennis chain.
Eliantte claims they received one payment of $100k from him on January 25, but he then failed to pay off the rest of the balance despite repeated attempts made to collect.
