Simon Guobadia is taking action against Porsha Williams’ Nigerian residency, though the reality star is unbothered.
Simon recently filed an affidavit in Nigeria’s High Court of Justice in Kaduna State, formally asking to withdraw his sponsorship of Porsha’s residency permit. He claims she used a document from their marriage to travel to Nigeria in December 2024, which he believes is no longer valid due to their divorce.
“I was advised by Nigerian authorities that I need to withdraw my sponsorship since we’re no longer legally married,” Simon told TMZ. He also expressed disappointment that Porsha flew to Lagos for last year’s festive season, stating, “She won’t be welcomed back for Detty December this time.”
But Porsha isn’t losing sleep over it. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta“ star is busy filming the upcoming season of the Bravo series and has no immediate plans to return to Nigeria. She’s also living comfortably in the house she won during the divorce and isn’t pressed about Simon’s latest move. She took to Instagram to share a screenshot of TMZ’s story, writing, “I’m an American silly Simone. I can go where I want. HBU.”

Meanwhile, Simon remains overseas after being deported following his immigration arrest.
