Police in Baltimore are currently investigating a shooting spree that left one person dead and six others wounded.
Authorities claim that the shootings took place at a cookout near the Perkins Square Baptist Church. The shooter is still at large.
At a news conference, police officials said the suspect they are looking for is a black man who came up on foot to the cookout and immediately opened fire “indiscriminately into the crowd.”
Other reports from eyewitnesses via Twitter are claiming the gunman was a white man.
According to WMAR-TV, one person was killed instantly and six other people were wounded.
Police did not provide any information on the condition of the six wounded victims, they would only say that the individuals were transported to nearby area hospitals.
The search is actively on for the suspect.
