10 Things To Let Go Of To Help You Move Forward (Part 2)

As we continue to count down the days until 2014 here is part 2 of our ’10 Things To Let Go Of To Help You Move Forward ‘ list.  We are on a quest to turn this list of 10 into 20 so if you have anything to add, comment below. For now here are numbers 6-10.

6. Fear Of The Unknown – I am a testament that once you let go of the fear and hang on to faith, nothing can keep you from where you want to go. Fear is crippling and will keep you from taking necessary risks. Risks are needed in order to grow. If we never risked falling, we wouldn’t know how to walk. If we didn’t venture new heights, we would miss out on so much. It’s okay to journey to the unknown.

7. Being Indecisive About What You Want – It’s time to get grown and start making some decisions. You will never leave where you are until you have decided where it is you want to be. Make a decision of what you want and pursue it passionately. 

8. Self Hate – One thing you have got to bring into 2014 is love for yourself. We all have things we don’t like about ourselves and at the top of the year we usually set resolutions to correct them. You are not the shape of your body or the number on the scale. Who you are matters, and the world needs you as you are. Celebrate you. This does not mean that you shouldn’t get in shape or improve yourself, but that you should love yourself for who you are FIRST before making those improvements. 

9. Stop Making Excuses – Most long term problems are the outcome of people making excuses, rather than decisions. 

10. Anger Towards Ex Lovers & Family – This is a big one. A really big one. We’ve all had someone that we’ve fallen out with or hold some type of resentment towards. Little do we know the negative feelings we hold towards them are eating away at us inside. Let go of anger toward ex lovers and family. We all deserve happiness and love; just because it is over doesn’t mean the love was wrong. You may not feel the need to speak to them again, but let go of the angry emotion and watch more positivity shine on you.
