Let’s face it, being involved with a Baller definitely has its’ perks, that’s why so many women (and some men) fantasize about being with one. You’re able to attend exclusive events, experience luxurious getaways, wear designer clothes, and enjoy the company of celebrities that at one point you only saw on television, let alone in your physical presence. Snagging a Baller is applaudable, but truly enjoying the benefits of dating/marrying one is icing on the cake. Nevertheless, material things and a significant amount of money won’t necessarily fill the void Ballerific women feel when their man is away for work, which tends to outweigh the time spent at home. So, with that said, ladies, here are 5 ways to deal with a Baller who’s always traveling:
1. Be understanding. You can’t walk around with your head down, moping and complaining because your Baller is constantly away when you knew from the start that frequent travel is a part of his profession. Think of it like this, if he’s not working then your adorn trips to Dubai and snakeskin Giuseppe sandals you enjoy flaunting are going to become sparse. You might even have to downsize from your 10 bedroom mansion and we KNOW you don’t want to do that. You don’t need updates every hour, so slow down on the constant calls. You already know he won’t be able to pick up half the time anyway and that’s only going to cause you to become frustrated. Spare yourself from the unnecessary irritation.
2. Occupy your time. Spend quality time with the other people in your life who matter. Have brunch with your parents. Throw a paint party with your friends. A new book just come out by Zane. I’m sure it’s a good read. Why not check it out and see for yourself? You have plenty of time to spare, so why not be productive? You’re less likely to dwell in your loneliness if you’re too busy to focus on it.
3. Workout. Ladies, when your man comes back home he should be ready to lay it down! He’s been gone for weeks, maybe even months and the sight of you should have him “ready.” Make sure that you’re working out consistently throughout the duration of his absence, not even just for him, but for yourself too. Hit the gym at least five days a week for ninety minutes. Balance your cardio and weight training, so that you’re influencing your target areas. If necessary, hire a trainer or attend a specific exercise class each week. You can even go to Instagram and get a swaray of workout ideas from infamous fitness gurus, such as @bundleofbrittany, @metishasfitness, and @fitnessguru. If you look any different from the last time he saw you, it should only be as a result of positive physical improvements. Manage your weight ladies and keep your body toned and tight!
4. Treat yourself. It’s always refreshing to treat yourself after you have put in a significant amount of tedious work. You’ve been able to sufficiently maintain the household while your Baller has been away, so reward yourself. A nice dinner or golden facial at the nearest upscale spa never hurt anyone. Take some time out of your day to get your hair and nails done or a full body wax. There’s no need to call your man to fund your requests, you can handle this on your own.
5. Focus on your career. Despite what you’ve heard, there are plenty of women who choose to have a career even though they’re in a relationship with a Baller. Personally, I believe this is definitely the route to take because unfortunately, all careers, especially when pertaining to athletics and music, are not lifelong. It’s ALWAYS a good idea to have your own source of income. Considering, that you’re spending a lot of time alone, direct your attention to your profession. Evaluate your career goals and establish a plan to attain them. Don’t allow distractions to deter. Focus on your objectives so that you can grow professionally. Attend professional development workshops and seminars. Seek the advice of colleagues who have already attained what it is you want to achieve. Take the time to truly recognize your skills and passion and act accordingly.
