50 Cent Says He Won’t Reunite With G-Unit Because He’s Tired Of Carrying Them [Video]

If you’re hoping for a G-Unit reunion, don’t hold your breath.

On Friday, 50 Cent sat down with The Breakfast Club for an interview. During the conversation, the G-Unit mogul was asked if he would ever reconcile with his former group members.

“I probably won’t do a project with them,” 50 responded. “I’m done with carrying them around. My back hurt.”

The show’s co-host pointed out that 50 still sometimes tours with Tony Yayo. He replied that Yayo is different and says he doesn’t have that same kind of relationship with his other artists.

“Yayo] is a different animal,” 50 Cent said. “If he does something wrong, I don’t care what magnitude of it is, he’ll go, ‘My bad.’ And he’ll go, ‘Aight.’ And we just keep going ’til the next time he does something wrong.”

He continued, “That is our relationship. Now, when you look at Banks, all these other guys, they came in by way of him, and they have a different temperament. It’s not like, it’s not the same relationship. So, I don’t necessarily go back to carrying him. Yay is different.”

The rap group emerged in the early 2000s after their debut album was released in November 2003. The group consisted of 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, and Yung Buck. G-Unit’s streak ended after 50 released his solo ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album.
