Actress/comedian, Aisha Tyler, is headed for splittsville because Jeff Tietjens, her husband of 22 years, has filed for divorce.
Tietjens filed divorce docs in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month, citing irreconcilable differences. Although he isn’t currently seeking spousal support, according to the docs filed, he reserves the right to request support at a later date.
Taylor, who is 45, has always been open about her troubles conceiving. “I’m old,” she said during a 2013 episode of “The Talk.” “In baby years, that’s old to be trying to get pregnant.”
“Look, based on what we’re seeing here, I just don’t think this is going to happen for you,” Tyler said she was told by her doctors.
“We just decided it wasn’t worth it to go through that and so we decided to stop. It was better to not go through that torture.”
It was not made clear what was the cause for divorce, though she and her husband have been estranged since January 2015.
