Amanda Bynes will likely need extended psychiatric treatment.
According to TMZ, sources close to the actress say that she has been living on the streets for several days, and they’re still trying to figure out how she got there.
Earlier this month, Amanda’s car was towed in Long Beach, about 40 miles from her home and almost 25 miles from where she was found in LA.
It’s believed Amanda hitchhiked or took public transportation to where she was last seen in Hollywood on March 18, appearing disheveled but wearing clothes.
TMZ reported that a stranger had given her a ride to Beverly Hills, but then she asked to return to Hollywood.
As of Sunday, it was reported that she has begun to improve since being admitted to a mental health facility. However, she is expected to remain for another week before being allowed to go home.
Over the weekend, it was reported that the Amanda Show actress was spotted waving down a car and calling 911 in Downtown LA.
It has been exactly one year since Amanda’s conservatorship was lifted on March 22.
According to reports, Amanda’s parents have no plans to reinstate the conservatorship.
