If you are waiting on the Apple car to drop, you may be waiting a few more years. According to Wall Street analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the car’s 2024 release rumor is extremely ambitious.
Kuo says the market is “too bullish” when it comes to reports of the company jumping into the automotive market. And 2025 is the earliest consumers may see a car made by Apple.
The 2024 Apple car goal was initially reported by Reuters last week.
The car is purportedly a game-changer—Apple cars will have a new battery design that could “radically” reduce the cost of batteries and help increase the EV’s range, New York Post reports.
Just like Apple changed the cellphone market with its iPhone, its car will also take automobiles to the next level.
Apple’s car launch has been dubbed “Project Titan” and began in 2014. There was a delay in Apple’s effort to venture into the automobile industry due to its need to focus on software and reassess goals instead.
