ASAP Rocky was under fire for slapping a woman for no reason at the Made In America music festival this summer but has avoided a trial. Why? Because she can’t find him to serve him. As we’ve previously reported ASAP Rocky, who’s known to slap women in the face at his shows, assault charges filed against him stating that while Rocky was performing on stage he leaned towards the crowd to get closer to the fans and when concert goers began grabbing and tugging on his shirt he lashed out and according to police reports he smacked a young woman in the crowd.
The woman was identified as Lisa Wade and since police didn’t see it happen and it’s a misdemeanor offense Wade had to file a PRIVATE criminal complaint with the D.A. That basically means the victim has to give the D.A. the alleged assailant’s contact info. I guess she couldn’t find ASAP Rocky’s address in the phone book so her attorneys sent paperwork to Rocky’s record label via certified mail. Unfortunately for Wade, Rocky wasn’t there to sign for it and the paperwork was returned to sender. The D.A. cant move forward until Wade provides an address where ASAP Rocky can be served.
She better find out his tour dates and do like they did Ciara, serve him right on stage.
