There’s no place like Atlanta. You know people have seen some crazy things if they don’t even buck when a robber comes in.
Authorities are searching for a “would-be” robber who was captured on video walking into Nail First on Piedmont Road with his hand on a bag on Monday afternoon in an attempt to rob the business.
The man shouts, “Get on the ground!” and “Give me your money!” to a group of women who appear to be employees of the business, but no one moves.
The workers ignored the man, who then walked over to a man working behind a counter. But even he didn’t take him seriously. Instead of handing over any money, the employee answered the phone that was ringing and walked away, WSB-TV News reported.
Eventually, one woman stood up with her hands up and walked outside, while others dismissed the would-be robber.
The man soon gives up when he realizes his failed attempt and leaves.
Crime Stoppers says he left in a silver car and ask anyone who recognizes him to call investigators at 404-577-8477.
They could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
