The FlyLeather is a man-made leather that diverts waste (the 30% of cowhide that is disposed of) and is five times more durable than full-grain leather. FlyLeather uses 90% less water than traditional leather and is 40% lighter.
Nike will unveil the new material at #ClimateWeekNYC2017 in five classic styles : the #AirJordan 1, the #Airmax90 , the #Cortez, the #AirForce 1 as well as the #TennisClassic. These silhouettes will feature a safari-textured leather with rose gold swooshes.
