Blueface has admitted that he’s not going to vote in the Presidential election next month.
The 23-year-old rapper revealed his decision during a recent appearance on The Cruz Show on L.A.’s Real 92.3.
When asked if he planned to vote, Blueface said, “Hell nah.” But when he was asked why he wasn’t voting, he simply responded, “I don’t know.”
However, the “Thotiana” rapper did clarify that he wasn’t against voting but said he doesn’t believe anyone cares if he participates.
“I just ain’t really, I don’t know, I ain’t in that stage in my life,” he said, “Look at my face—you think they give a f*ck about who I vote for? C’mon man.”
Blueface is not the only rapper skeptical of voting. In fact, several rappers have revealed that this election will be the first time they exercise their right, including Snoop Dogg, who said he was unaware he had the right.
“I ain’t never voted a day in my life, but this year I think I’ma get out and vote ’cause I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year,” Snoop said in an interview. “For many years, they had me brainwashed thinking that you couldn’t vote ’cause you had a criminal record. I didn’t know that. My record’s been expunged, so now I can vote.”
