Brandon Marshall was trending much of Tuesday after a clip from his podcast, I Am Athlete, hit the Internet showing the retired NFL baller being loud and wrong.
During a discussion with fellow hosts Chad Johnson, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor on the latest episode of the podcast, the subject of NBA contracts came up. At some point, Marshall got fired up, stating, “not everybody on an NBA roster has guaranteed contracts.” Neither of his co-hosts was able to get a word in as Marshall doubled down on his claims.
“There’s four guys on an NBA team that got guaranteed contracts, and everybody else can be cut today and don’t got nothing,” Marshall shouted. However, a majority of NBA contracts are promised.
Needless to say, Twitter users weighed in on Marshall passionately telling his co-hosts that NBA salaries were not guaranteed.
