So, apparently people are still testing the NFL’s seriousness in it’s drug policy. The next athlete to get suspended is Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Wes Welker. According to sources, Welker took Molly at the Kentucky Derby back in May. It had been cut with amphetamines. Similar situation as Orlando Scandrick. As you may recall in Orlando Scandrick’s case, Molly shows up as a PED (performance enhancing drug). Like Scandrick, Welker will also be sitting out four games. He appealed the penalty two weeks ago and it was rejected.
Because the Broncos have a bye week in Week 4, Welker will be eligible to return Week 6 when the Broncos take on the Jets.
Dear Ballers, leave the Molly alone.
