Prominent Hollywood talent agency, CAA, has cut ties with Ye, formerly Kanye West, following growing calls to boycott the artist over his repeated antisemitic comments.
A source confirmed with the Hollywood Reporter Monday that the agency ended its relationship with Ye this month over his recent remarks.
This comes days after Endeavor and WME mogul Ari Emanuel penned a column in the Financial Times urging businesses to end their relationships with the hip-hop and fashion icon after he tweeted he wanted to go “death con 3″ on Jewish people and continued antisemitic rhetoric in interviews that followed.
“Those who continue to do business with West are giving his misguided hate an audience,” Emanuel wrote.
Just last week, close fashion collaborator Balenciaga cut ties with the artist. J.P. Morgan and the Gap have also parted ways with the rapper, while, as of now, Ye’s Adidas deal is still in place.
