Apparently, Caitlyn Jenner’s Olympic days took a toll on her knee.
Sources told TMZ that the decathlon gold medalist had knee replacement surgery at Cedars-Sinai in L.A. on December 14.
The procedure reportedly lasted 3 hours and went well so far.
Caitlyn is said to be up and about following the surgery and is walking around her Malibu compound.
Jenner posted to her Instagram a video of her in the hospital bed saying, “Okay! Guess what I’m doing today? Yes, I’m getting my knee replaced,” she said in the video.
She continued, “I’ve been putting this off for 25 years and I’m finally going to do it today! I’ll try to keep you up to date along the way.”
In the caption, Caitlyn revealed that the replacement actually took place 11 days ago.
Sources claim her goal for the beginning of 2022 is to walk normally, drive and get back to the stuff she likes to do, including golfing.
