Cam’ron is back in the news, but not about his feud with Joe Budden. The rapper reportedly took a loss in the courtroom and now has to fork over a hefty amount.
According to AllHipHop, Cam’ron faces a default judgment in a lawsuit, which means that he’ll now have to pay up.Â
Photographer Djamilla Cochran filed a lawsuit in April, claiming she photographed the iconic 2003 picture of Killa Cam in a pink fur coat and hat with a matching pink flip phone.
Cochran sued the Dipset rapper earlier this year for using the photo for his clothing brand’s merch without getting the proper rights to do so.
Allegedly, he and Dipset Couture ignored multiple infringement warnings and never responded to the lawsuit. Now, Cochran is seeking $57,000 as part of her awarded default judgment, plus $10,000 in legal fees.Â
She’s also going a step further by seeking an audit of Killa Cam’s brand for all the merch with the picture that he’s sold so she can access these profits, the publication reported.
