This week’s Twitter feud between Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels sparked a recurring topic amongst men, which is the act of preserving one’s hairline.
Despite access to over-the-counter hair products like Rogaine, the advancements of hair technology, hair transplants, and hair dye has ushered in a new growth for men across the globe — especially for celebrities.

Safaree Samuels
Nicki Minaj and Safaree’s two hour Twitter feud on Monday was quite a doozy. The former couple exchanged a series of heated tweets about their past relationship. Among the many claims that were mentioned, Minaj revealed Safaree’s past surgical procedure for his hairline.
In a tweet, Minaj wrote: “I should’ve never paid for that gyatDamn hairline!!!! It fell back out cuz God don’t like ugly!!!! You used me but God had other plans!!!!!”
Tyga
Nicki Minaj and Safaree’s Twitter exchange beef didn’t end with the reality star’s hairline. Minaj also brought her former Young Money label mate Tyga, into the conversation who allegedly received a hair treatment on the same day as Safaree. Safaree responded to Minaj by tweeting during the exchange that he and Tyga had hair surgery on “the same day,” but with “different doctors.”
To confirm the pair’s revelation, Tyga tweeted a photo of the “Expert Hair Transplant Surgeon and Artist,” Dr. Craig L. Ziering along with the caption, “Tell’em Tyga sent u.”
LeBron James
Throughout his career, LeBron James’ hairline has been the subject of many jokes and memes. However, despite some speculating James’ usage of hair dye, his personal barber, Nick Castemanos, claims The King’s hair is au naturel.
“There is no dye. No additives. No preservatives,” Castemanos told Yahoo Sports in a 2015 interview. “Everyone thinks he’s dying his hair using [temporary hair colorings] Bigen or Black Ice. It’s all his hair. They still don’t believe me… I’ve become numb to it. It used to bother me. It’s not easy to hear that.”
Deion Sanders
Deion Sanders officially made a comeback this year — to his roots in the field of hair. Following his transition from his famous early 90s Jheri Curl look, Sanders decided to sport a clean, shaved head. However, after years of hair loss, Prime Time has been very active flexin’ on the ‘Gram, showcasing his new and improved “hair game!”
“I only posted this picture so u can see that my HAIRGAME is back,” he wrote in a Instagram post. “My Face is smooth and bumpless and My smile is Contagious! Read this slowly and I mean slowly with understanding. Money CAN’T MAKE U HAPPY BUT it sure CAN ANSWER SOME PROBLEMS. Use Money and don’t allow money to use and abuse u.”
Jamie Foxx
Jamie Foxx is notorious for maintaining a crisp hairline. And while Foxx has never gone on record to confirm his technique for preserving a laser sharp tapper, he will always be on our list for having the sharpest hairline.
