Chika overshadowed the release of her new song “Requiem For A Dream” by going on an epic Twitter rant over a child crying on an airplane. The child turned out to be T.I. and Tiny’s granddaughter, and the backlash was swift for the rapper.
The former XXL Freshman railed against “the lady next to me who thought it would be a good idea to buy yourself and your twin infants first class seats on a red-eye flight.”
Chika explained that the crying child woke her before questioning whether the woman was mentally delayed. She also referred to the passenger as a “hoe” and the baby as a “bastard.”

Tiny identified the child as her granddaughter in a comment, writing, “Yeah she talking about my mf’n grand baby!!!”
She continued, “Talking like she wasn’t supposed to be in first class or something! TF!!!” She included several eye-rolling and cursing emojis in her comment.
Tamara Zackery, Tiny’s niece, identified herself as the woman on the plane. She explained that she was traveling with her 4-year-old daughter and Zonnique’s almost 2-year-old daughter. According to her, Chika praised the children for how well they behaved on the flight before Zonnique’s daughter woke up crying.
“You just mad a woman and two children could afford 1st class next to a peasant such as yourself,” Zackery wrote. “You a fake bitch in person!”
Zonnique posted a video clip of the two girls sitting in their first-class seats in response to the Alabama-based rapper’s comments.
“Wait I’m in tearssss not chika boo was mad my child was cutting up in first class,” she captioned the post. “You should of just sat there and been mad babe..she sky priority af.”

The backlash Chika received moved her to apologize, delete the tweets, and set her Twitter account to private.
“I wasn’t cruel to anyone, i was mean *about* someone,” she tweeted. “stop conflating the two and acting like i caused harm. i can own what i did, i will not own what is projected onto me. i’m sorry.”
In a video posted to Instagram, Chika acknowledged that what she said was mean and harsh. She admitted to being tired and manic, which sent off her rant.
