Chris Rock made a joke about Whitney Houston on social media and fans of the late singer aren’t finding anything funny.
Rock posted a meme Saturday on his Instagram, which featured a picture of Houston in sunglasses and the caption, “Hurry up I got crack to smoke.”
The comedian instantly received backlash from fans in the comment section, including the late singer’s ex husband, Bobby Brown, were among those who weren’t pleased.
“During this time of women empowerment you chose to use your time to try and humiliate our QUEEN,” Brown commented.
After all of the criticism, Rock has since removed the image from his account. He has yet to address his decision to take the post down.
