Claressa Shields Addresses Viral Anonymous Call Drama — And She’s Not Denying It [Video]

The boxer issued a snarky response to rumors that she was an anonymous caller on the Hood Champion Boxing and Sports YouTube channel. An alleged anonymous caller who sounded much like Shields phoned in to defend the boxer against accusations that her image is “ruined.” During a recent press conference, the fighter was asked if it was really her on the line.

“If I did, so what?” she snapped back at the “hot topic.”

On the call, the woman claimed that YouTubers believe anything negative about Shields, especially when Tasha K is the one reporting it. The Hood Champion Boxing and Sports YouTube channel identified Shields as the caller, despite her not giving a yes or no answer. Nevertheless, Shields has never shied away from defending herself in public, especially when it comes to her relationship and personal life.

Most recently, Shields fired back at people urging her to stop talking about her relationship with Papoose. According to the 30-year-old, that’s simply not in the cards for her, as she plans to incorporate her man into her life in every way.
