As Election Day is quickly approaching, many companies are starting to offer incentives to get more people excited about voting. Even though direct rewards for voting are illegal, these businesses have found a creative way to advertise perks and discounts without breaking the law. Take a look at a roundup of companies offering unique deals to individuals who participate in this year’s presidential election.
Transportation Deals
Uber “Go Vote” Initiative
Rideshare company Uber has recently introduced its new Election Day feature, which aims to make transportation to polls easier for voters. Lyft’s “LyftUp Voting Access Program”
As a long-standing tradition, Lyft is continuing to help voters get to the polls, offering a 50% discount on rides to voting polls, including rideshares, bikes, and scooters. To access the half-off rides, use code VOTE24.
Hertz’s “Free Day on Election Day”
Similar to the companies previously stated, Hertz is offering a free rental day promotion. If you want to get in on the deal, reserve a vehicle for two days using code 211636 and schedule pick up for any date between October 21st and November 5th to get one day free.
