As Election Day is quickly approaching, many companies are starting to offer incentives to get more people excited about voting. Even though direct rewards for voting are illegal, these businesses have found a creative way to advertise perks and discounts without breaking the law. Take a look at a roundup of companies offering unique deals to individuals who participate in this year’s presidential election.

Transportation Deals

Uber “Go Vote” Initiative

Rideshare company Uber has recently introduced its new Election Day feature, which aims to make transportation to polls easier for voters. To access the feature, riders will need to open the app and click on the “Go Vote!” tile, which offers multiple options, including finding poll locations, discounted rides at 50% off, and 25% off Uber Eats orders.

Lyft’s “LyftUp Voting Access Program”

As a long-standing tradition, Lyft is continuing to help voters get to the polls, offering a 50% discount on rides to voting polls, including rideshares, bikes, and scooters. To access the half-off rides, use code VOTE24.

Hertz’s “Free Day on Election Day”

Similar to the companies previously stated, Hertz is offering a free rental day promotion. If you want to get in on the deal, reserve a vehicle for two days using code 211636 and schedule pick up for any date between October 21st and November 5th to get one day free.

Food & Beverage Deals

Johnny Rockets: On November 5th, voters can enjoy a free milkshake with in-store purchases if they show an “I Voted” sticker.

Yogurtland: Voters who bring in their “I Voted” sticker on November 5th will receive 15% off on their orders at participating locations.

Dave & Busters: Unlike other places, Dave & Busters is offering a handful of Election Day specials, including half-priced games, $5 beers, and late-night bites. Also, their combo meal for $19.99 will include a $10 game card in addition to the entrée and drink.

Lazy Dog Restaurants: Bring in your “I Voted” sticker to any participating location to receive a free handcrafted non-alcoholic beverage with any entrée.

Fazoli’s: Voters can redeem a $2 off coupon on signature baked meals, including baked chicken Parmigiano, loaded baked spaghetti, and spicy baked ziti with Italian sausage.

Krispy Kreme: On November 5th, stop by a Krispy Kreme location to snag free doughnuts while supplies last. The best part is that customers don’t need proof of voting, as the company will give away “I Voted” stickers.
