Since Michael Jackson’s passing in June of 2009 family, friends and fans have waited patiently to find out who should be held responsible.
Jackson’s death was the result of an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol which was administered by Dr. Conrad Murray. Today a jury has reached a verdict and Dr. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and is being remanded without bail. His sentencing is set for November 29th where the Jackson family will get to speak.
The involuntary manslaughter conviction holds a max of four years in state prison but due to a new California law, Conrad will go to county jail in which he will only serve a max of half of his sentence and may be eligible for house arrest.
The expression on Conrad’s face was saddening. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
