DaniLeigh was reportedly arrested in Miami Beach over Memorial Day weekend on three charges after police say she was involved in a hit-and-run accident.
The singer, whose real name is Danielle Leigh Curiel, was booked early Tuesday on charges of driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the 28-year-old artist was witnessed speeding and swerving in and out of lanes early Tuesday before colliding with a person riding a motorized scooter and dragging the scooter for approximately one block. A passerby alerted a nearby officer, who subsequently initiated a traffic stop.
Authorities stated the singer smelled of alcohol, and when the officer administered field sobriety tests, she did not pass. It was also noted that she blew 0.145 and 0.148, nearly twice the legal limit, after undergoing a Breathalyzer test.
Dani was then cuffed and booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
She has since been released on a $9,500 bond.
TMZ reports the victim was treated at a local hospital for a kidney laceration and a spinal fracture.
