Dave Chappelle Says He Regrets Not Texting Bob Saget Back Before He Died

Dave Chappelle revealed that he is filled with regrets after leaving his long-time friend, comedian, and “Full House” star, Bob Saget, on read.

According to a video posted on TMZ, Chappelle opened up during a comedy set about his feelings of regret since his friend passed away so suddenly a week ago.

During a performance on Thursday night at the Peppermint Club in West Hollywood, Chappelle admitted that Saget’s death shocked him.

“I didn’t see [the death of] Bob coming,” Chappelle told the audience. “Man, he just texted me and I saw the text yesterday and I never texted him back because I was just busy. It happens.”

“I’m just saying this to remind you that these moments are precious,” he continued. “When I come out at night, I’m not just hanging out. I’m making memories.”
